Trans Rights Readathon
The Trans Rights Readathon is a reading event we look forward to every year, but it’s especially important this year. As I’m sure you know, the rights and lives of trans folks are under focused attack in the United States right now, on both a federal and a local level.
Reading is a critical tool we have for building empathy for people who might be different from ourselves. This is a particularly important time to be reading books written by and about trans folks. Particularly books that highlight love and joy and the right of trans folks to experience them.
